Imagine a band with the sense of humor to call themselves Snatch Magnet, and you’ll begin to understand what they’re about. This five-man outfit from Hollywood, California parties hard, but rocks even harder.
In a scene where other bands are “bringing back” sounds of yesteryear, Snatch Magnet isn’t bringing back anything….except for, maybe, sexy. With influences ranging from Queen to Avenged Sevenfold to Muse, this band is an ultra-modern take on rock, pop, and metal that says “Less is NOT more, more is more!”
On stage, their live show is among the top draws in LA, filling venues like the House of Blues, Whisky-a-GoGo, Key Club, Roxy Theater, and The Troubadour. Their aim is to drop jaws with virtuosic dual guitar melodies, marathon drumming, vocal acrobatics, anthemic choruses, and of course, off-color jokes.
Off stage, the band is extremely approachable and dedicated to carrying on the long tradition of partying like rock stars.
Beyond the venues, their accomplishments keep growing. They secured an endorsement with Egnater Amplification. They placed songs in two Lionsgate films: 2012’s “Freelancers” (starring Robert DeNiro, Forest Whitaker, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) and 2013’s “The Frozen Ground” (starring Nicolas Cage and John Cusack). They’ve been tapped by Hustler Magazine and Barely Legal to perform at industry events, and have been played on hundreds of college radio stations. Their music has sold thousands of units worldwide, along with their full line of Snatch Magnet merchandise and apparel.
